Heylo again and please excuse the first post; you know I still get too excited whenever I get to post online before midday. XD Firstly, Em's final, final plodding total from Tuesday's actually 3808; secondly, today I've been hard @ work plodding only 364 steps (and don't expect much more unless dad can take me out grocery shopping and aisle walking later since PIG mum's already cancelled my appointment to see Aunty Anna for some acupuncture and massage and nor will she lemme attend GG tonight since the parents are both still crook ><); thirdly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'The Perfect City'; fourthly, TWFT topic's 'Keep Your Hope Alive'; fourthly, Joni's devotional topic's 'Love Displayed' and fifthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Motivated By Love'. Anyways, let's start with last night's events first!
- Once I'd used up my most important two hours of the day online, I headed over to the gobbling :P table to read for one hour and wait for PIG mum to gimme some arvo tea.
- Happily read The Dressmaker for one hour; I finished pg. 325 @ 4:24pm, finished pg. 333 @ 4:34pm and reached pg. 350 @ 4:50pm.
- Bree arrived @ 5:30pm and tootled me off to Toastmasters but unfortunately for the first time this year all the free parking was gone (presumably coz we'd been stuck in traffic along the highway) and we had to pay for parking.
- Last night the meeting was in V-714 and Viktor visited! He now drives a motorbike! I gave my alcohol speech and only six attended.
- Afterwards, I went back to the Warrigal Square Maccas for my UnHappy Meal with an orange juice. Bree had one too, but with six McNuggets and a Coke.
- Back home, repeat the usual daily events and zzz~
- Today: yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6:20am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- PIG mum came into my room around 10am saying she was too sick to take me to see Aunty Anna for some massage and acupuncture; also that she wouldn't let dad drive me to GG tonight because he wasn't better yet either! ><
- Dad helped me up; I brushed teeth, sat over the loo for one tinkle, washed and dried Era and then walked myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Ooh, my HP version of Bejeweled had given me fifteen free minutes of lives; I immediately played that but unfortunately didn't manage to pass anymore levels. XD
- Fingers crossed I can bbl, since I'm still owed THIRTY-NINE MINUTES online!!
Cheers,
Em. ^^ - P.S All the interesting surnames I saw while watching the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's, read by Andrew Lofthouse and Melissa Downes) for the TH time: Fegan, Kenzie, Rawlings, Wilkinson (heard), Bavas, Netayahu (heard), Swift, Haines, Marine, Greer, Vyleen (heard, first name), Rigg, Beasley, Arvier, Trad (heard), Geran, Ikin (heard), Parmenter, Aisling (first name), Krukelis, Harding, Tate, Beatty Probyn, Carrigan (heard),Uptin, Dubbo, Fawcett, Samaggui, Comyn, Lea, Sullivan, Gerrard, McDermott, Kiss heard), Chalmers, Iona (heard, first name), Caffry, Mcnamara,Kohler Shoebridge, Croucher, Wilkinson (heard), Lehrmann (heard), Buckingham (heard),Marsh, Schueller, Flannery, Meyer, Allan, Nugent, Deutscher and Inglis.
