Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2175 steps (ha, I'm over two grand XD); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'The Only True Freedom'; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'You Have More To Learn' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Finding Wise Joy' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY-FIVE MINUTES online after I get home tonight!! Anyways, events for today?
- Woo hoo, 13TH consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 7:00am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh* Actually, since PIG mum’s overseas holidaying, I’m using the time to recharge my mental batteries and prepare for another year with her @ the helm! XD
- Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking again for the pot :P around 9am shortly before dearest dad comes and kisses me good morning, gives both eyes some eye goo and places the crop top down beside me. I ask can't I just wear the tee until Karina arrives and helps me put the crop top on before driving me to physio since we're not going out this morning but dad refuses, so I immediately struggle into that before giving myself fifteen more minutes.
- Dad finishes with my footwear before I head over to brush teeth, sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table,rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is 2.5 snapped-up dry (no honey) Weet-Bix with one slice of dry (unbuttered) toast lightly spread with avocado and hopefully sprinkled with salt, one plain rice cracker with identical filling, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water., Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the loo, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the gobbling :P table, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. I spend the rest of the morning penning an eight-page letter to Sonia saying farewell! I also squee over an adorable Minion card that Leanne sent me; <3 the Minions!
- For lunch, dad and I both eat rice leftovers and when Karina arrives to take me to my last NAB session for the year he immediately boots me out. Luckily Karina needs to stop and refuel her car, meaning we don't arrive *that* early. XD
- For my final NAB session in 2024, physio with Dana was Lotsa stepping for Elf and Erf on and Elf, sideways and facing forward up and down off the block, standing practice at the sim house and twenty sit-to-stands. Before leaving, I give Sonia her card and present, give her a big hug and wish her all the best~
- After one more loo trip, Karina tootles me home and I take a nice hot shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Karina who helped me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- Dried, creamed and rekitted, arvo tea was one plain rice cracker, one yummy banana plus one big mug of honey with a lil bit of honey. Happiness was reading the book club novel for one hour; today I reached pg. 150 @ exactly @ 4:30pm and reached pg. 175 @ exactly 5:15pm, which means it takes me thirty minutes to read twenty-five pages ... think that's considered slow?
