Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 1726 steps; secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Models For Combating Discouragement; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'You Can Conquer Your Fear' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Instruments For Good'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 3rd consecutive awesome sleep last! Like yesterday, nature didn't call until 7:05am and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh* Oh, and I forgot my dream when I woke up! 'Twas a dream about myself; hopefully I'll dream it again tonight and remember it!!
- Around 9am I'm woken again for the pot, just before PIG mum begins her daily noisy a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help exceedingly slightly with not only the bra strap but the tee (since dearest dad's @ home) before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum returns to finish with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom and brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling: P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is one bowl of plain porridge with one slice of dry (unbuttered) multigrain bread, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the loo, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into the backseat of PIG mum's car and buckle my own seatbelt (what I do all day). After she checks, she tootles me off to see Ray for some massage and acupuncture.
- At Ray's, I use the loo for one tinkle and then lie down for some massage and acupuncture. PIG mum's in her element yapping unceasingly @ Ray; my grateful thanks to him who always replied and kept a conversation flowing. Actually, PIG mum did quite well herself today too; she only repeated two words thrice! XD
- After another tinkle, PIG mum tootled us back to the Warrigal Square Woolies and we bought groceries before returning home.
- Back home, I used the loo for one tinkle and then walked myself slowly and safely to the gobbling :P table, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming atred and not letting him push me over.
- Dad cooked two-minute noodles for lunch! That was with lotsa soup carrot, lotsa soup broccoli, lotsa soup tomato and two/three tiny chunks of tasty pork.
- Lunch was washed down with one big mug of powdered green tea from Aunty Nga and then since I'd been given like forty-five minutes of free lives, I happily played the HP version of Bejeweled and passed three levels! XD
- One more loo trip for a pad change before plopping online.
- Some new carer's coming called Sharon to mind me from 4-6pm; hope she's nice!
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news for the 142ND time!
- Toms: PIG mum'll help me up coz Lena's coming @ 10am and taking me to Breathe for physio. Presuming we're buying groceries @ Coles Pinelands afterwards; fingers crossed PIG mum'll lemme buy my once-weekly crunchy pork bahn mi from the Pinelands Bakehouse for lunch!
- Looking forward to my most important two hours of the day online plus the chance to read for one hour before Nisha takes me out to Toastmasters toms night!
- Also looking forward to getting some dinner back from Maccas, never mind that UnHappy Meals were what I ate surely @ LEAST THREE DECADES ago!! *sigh*
- Anyways, hoopefully bbl after this Sharon leaves, else wishing everyone a smashing day toms!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
