saturday post1b

good evening! em's final plodding total for saturday now stands @ 4686. righteo, the rest of today's events?
-before we left to meet aunty selina, PIG mum took me once to the loo. leaving was a slight hassle, coz dad made me walk to the elevator before letting me sit in sparkless. but after numerous threats to not lemme out to see aunty selina/garfield, from dad, we caught a taxi to city plaza.
argh. >< just inside cityplaza, the parents forced me out of sparkless and made me walk to meet aunty selina, making me walk up several escalators. even worse, when we finally met up with aunty selina/garfield :P dad STILL refused to lemme back into sparkless! >< dad just pushed sparkless away and let PIG mum make me walk all the way to lunch.
-originally, the was to have lunch @ cafe di coral - but PIG mum made me walk to some yum cha restaurant instead, 'claiming' that aunty selina didn't wanna eat cafe di coral.
-but dad said he'd take me to cafe di coral for lunch afterwards. so i just sat @ the table and waited, not taking anything to eat for myself, but just waiting for dad to pass me one bite. meaning i had some yellow cake ('mar lai gol' in canto), half a charsiu bun, and some other nibblies.
-dad and i left PIG mum and went to grab me some lunch @ cafe di coral. first, though, we stopped @ some music shop and browsed some CDs. luckily, we didn't come across any andy hui. :P dad checked westlife's discs; i confirmed i already owed everyone he showed me. hey, jacky cheung has a new album out! must ask PIG mum if she'll lemme buy it!
-@ cafe di coral, i ordered some pork chop burger with a chicken wing and a pearl milk tea; dad got himself this red bean fleecy (i think that's what they're called). then we wheeled around and around looking for a table.
-when the food arrived, i tucked into my lunch. dad whined that he'd already given me some of his yum cha, so i gave him my burger and he took one big chomp. same again with the chicken wing.
-aunty selena and PIG mum joined dad and i. aunty ann (the other lady who'd joined us for yum cha) said farewell and left.
-aunty garfield has one daughter, joyce? who's nineteen and studies accounting (or sth with numbers) in canada. aww, how sweet - she gets to ring her mum every night! *sigh* i remember PIG mum only allowed me to ring dearest grandma twice a week, and sometimes only even once .. what i would give to be able to ring her again and hear her loving voice ... :(
-rolls joined us, and when we left, he invited us up to his place. first, though, PIG mum had him ring first aunty and see if that was okay (sth about when there's a death in the family, it's considered unlucky to go visit another household) whether or not we'd be welcome to visit. she said yes. :)
-so dad and i wheeled me up to the chau's residence. as expected, little ashley was snoring her head off :P. first aunty had the television open to some cartoon, and was chatting to carrie.
-the parents made me walk inside, and i crashed on the couch.
-awhile later, ding dong! cousin karry arrived also. lol, turns out she missed her chiropractor appointment coz she ... overslept! :P
-so we just yakked away till it was time to leave for dinner. PIG mum took me once to the bathroom first, then rolls led the way to tuesday (yup, interesting name for a restaurant, hey? :P)
-dinner was with: cousin teresa, uncle sickdick :P and franco, cousin karry, first aunty, rolls, my parents and i.
-cousin teresa lemme pick the pasta: i chose this one with white sauce and chicken. then, for dinner, i got: some yummy chicken, one wee chunk of beef, some yummy pasta, one lil chunk of garlic bread, and several leaves of caesar salad. i asked PIG mum if i could please order a yummy drink, but she gleefully refused, leaving me to just drink water. oh well.
-after dinner, PIG mum took me once to the bathroom. when i asked her if we could please order one desert to share, she said to ask dad. when i tried asking dad, he said that everyone had already decided that we wouldn't. when i pointed out that i was part of 'everyone' but hadn't been asked, he said i could ask first aunty. but i have my suspicions... did he already tell her 'no' in advance? coz when i asked her, she first invited everyone to franco's house for dessert. meaning i dunno why we just caught the MTR home.
-i tried to leave one stop early to save me the struggle of climbing up the steps, but nope, the parents refused. >< so they made poor em hike up fifteen steps. ><
-but i saw a maccas, and asked if we could please stop there for dessert. dad said only if i got up from where i was now and walked into the store. *sigh* so i did.
-dad came back with an oreo mcflurry (mc ship wind in canto; or mc wind ship? the first, i think). which we shared between us three.
-dad wheeled me back to aunty lai's apartment (PIG mum wouldn't lemme wheel coz it had been raining and the floor was slippery).
-i tootled online.
-toms: i honestly hope we don't haveta attend church! but we prolly will, whatever. too bad grandma's not here anymore to say i don't haveta stand for worship. :( but there's no way i'll sing anything. not sure what we're doing in the arvo or evening, but hope it's good! hope everyone enjoys their day toms!
