Saturday Post 436

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 3294 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Devastated and Delighted'; thirdly, TWFT topic's ''Deal With Your Unresolved Issues' and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Rooted In Love' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed THIRTY MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm bulletin for the 140TH time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Aww, I'd just begun an awesome sleep streak (four days) when nature called @ 4:50am and ruined it! Suppose it's not hot enough yet: one year, I remember waking @ 4:50am on December the 31st and the Sun had already risen!
  • Nature called again when noisy PIG mum awoke me with her daily A-THUMPING around upstairs @ 6:20am; after another pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep because I knew she'd definitely get very loud again one hour later!
  • Like clockwork, one hour later noisy PIG mum goes a-THUMPING upstairs and gets changed for her halfday's work; that's my wakeup signal to use the pot :P again. After the second pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • At 7:30am, PIG mum rushes into my room and hits me with the eye goo before bolting off for her half day's work. Once she's gone, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After dearest dad retucks Uber and me into bed, says he'll leave me some leftovers for lunch and promises to stay quiet so that we can snore in peace, we cuddle and do exactly that, me waking twice more for the pot :P before Annette announces her arrival @ 10am. Wonder where Hannah went?
  • I get my fifteen more minutes, call for Annette, swing myself over to the pot :PO once more and bang the wall for her when she doesn't appear. When Annette comes, we get me kitted and I head over to the bathroom and brush teeth. Ela enjoys her last break this week from having to hold the toothbrush. After drinking one mug of water, I sit over the loo proper. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I headed out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast. Thanks to dearest dad who fried ham and eggs this morning and thanks to Annette who really cooks the bread crunchy with butter unlike Hannah! XD I enjoyed my first big mug of white tea and read the Silver Brumby book for thirty minutes, and Annette even remembered the cheese, yay~
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
