Saturday Post 248b

Heylo again, good evening and probablyne final greeting for tonight! Firstly, Em’s potential  final, final plodding total for Saturday now stands @ 1020 (ha, I’m just over one grand XD) and secondly, Joni’s devotional topic’s ‘God Weeping’. Righteo, probable final, final events for Saturday?

  • When Kim announced her arrival precisely @ 4pm, I walked myself slowly and safely to the front door and let her in, again , rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over

  • So a nice hot shower for me- I washed and rinsed my own hair today. I also softly, slowly but most hatefully sang 24% of my shorter second-favourite song out aloud, opening both eyes for all the important numbers.
  • I had one tinkle before I flipped the nice hot water off, mostly dried myself (thanks to Kim who kindly helped me dry my back, both legs and Era), mostly creamed myself (again, thanks to Kim who kindly helped me cream my back, both calves and Era) then mostly rekitted myself (thanks to Kim who kindly helped me with Erf’s sock, Elf’s AFO and both laces). Then I used the loo for one tinkle, dried inside both ears, washed and dried Era then walked myself slowly and safely back out to the gobbling :P table, again , rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over
    1. Arvo tea was the last chocolate teddy bun plus one mug of green tea. I’d pouted and told Kim she lemme have one mug of milk tea once weekly, and since I didn’t have one Monday/Thursday, then she should really gimme one now, but she said she lemme have two next week?
  • Anyhow, my biggest joy was getting to read for one more hour, meaning that today I’ve spent three hours reading! :D It’s only Saturday when I get the chance to bury my nose into a book for 1/8 of the day! :D As for Kim, after she cleaned the bathroom, she sat and very sporadically massaged Ela for one hour while watching Vietnamese cooking shows.
  • At 5:55pm (Ten’s news wasn’t airing coz there was some kinda car racing thing being aired) I walk myself slowly and safely once to the loo for two tinkles and back, always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over
  • I’m back online for all of five minutes, when Fiona and Christy arrive to take me to dinner with them and Letty! For some reason, I keep thinking that Christy jie’s going to study for one year in Siberia, but it’s actually Amsterdam! XD
  • Thankfully, dearest dad comes home in time to locate my parking permit; @ the Rice Paper place, Letty arrives just after we do.
  • Lol, we haveta wait outside awhile; after we walk inside and see the place full, I head back outside. Some random guy points me to a baby high chair. “Here, just sit here and wait awhile,” he tells me. I’m like, “Um, sir, sorry but I think I’m rather too big to squeeze into a baby chair?” The guy chuckles. “Oh, I don’t mean that!” He points again but further, beyond the high chair where there’s like two/three red plastic chairs. “Oh, sorry, didn’t see them!” I reply sheepishly. “Thanks!”
  • *sigh* Trust my luck: when we’re finally called inside, our table’s the deepest inside @ the innermost corner. But then again, there’s apparently no such thing as luck, meaning it’s yet another thing I can blame the cruel and unfaithful God for. >< But thanks to Letty who walked behind me and pointed me to the most left seat.
  • For dinner, I had my favourite crispy chicken Maryland with tomato rice; Christy jie had the same but with noodle soup! The highlight of my week was drinking a cold HK-style milk tea; I’ve never had 2.5 in one week before; usually it’s just once a fortnight!
  • Over dinner, we just all chatted abouts books read, Korean television drams, lotsa random topics.
  • We all went to pay but they only accepted one bill per table! Fiona paid, and I paid her once I was back seated in her car.
  • Suddenly someone appeared and gave Fiona a big hug! I didn’t recognize  her !(coz I’m terrible with faces XD) but it was Ella! Chiu! She works for the government now writing policy and is married; Edith was married, sadly got divorced but is engaged again to marry next September, while Aunty Connie and Uncle Simon are in Hong Kong right now! We swapped mobile numbers before she left; she also found me on Facebook~
  • Back home, I used the loo for one more tinkle then walked myself slowly and safely online, again and always rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.dad came to feed me three fat slices of kiwi.
  • Toms: just church, definitely nothing special. Looking forward to hear Dr. Lee’s sermon; I’ve done the pre-reading.
  • Resigned to lunch with the parents @ Maccas. *sigh* Looking forward to getting some chips, though; I’ve not had any this week yet!
  • Hopefully PIG mum will lemme shower once I get home, coz I wanna watch the Broncos play toms arvo then new Australian Ninja Warrior toms night starting @ 7pm!
  • Righteo, hope to see everyone @ church toms!
  • Cheers,
  • Em. ^^
P.S. Can’t figure out why the bullet points go down the right hand side and not the left; never mind! XD
