Thursday Post 279b

Heylo again and potentially one final greeting for Thursday! Em’s potential final, final plodding total for Thursday now stands @ 2385. Righteo, potential final, final events for Thursday?

  • Now @ 6:37pm, I’ve finished one more game of Bejeweled lasting 6:57. That’s today’s quotas satisfied, and I now promise to willingly hit the sack tonight. XD
  • Kim saved herself the wrath of the Bear Bum by just calling good morning then leaving us be for fifteen more minutes. XD
  • When she returned (about thirty seconds after I’d finished counting down my fifteen more minutes, I feigned sleep, wondering how Kim would wake me? Like PIG mum strokes my face; the nurse who awoke me after I fell asleep waiting for the neurosurgeon to come reset my shunt’s pressure settings patted the blanket I was under … Kim stroked Era! Makes sense; she knows me more than the nurse on duty but less than PIG mum~
  • When she came back, we got me kitted (I did Elf’s sock, my tee and shorts; she did Erf’s sock, Elf’s AFO, my bra strap and both laces, then I went over to the bathroom to brush teeth. (Ela enjoyed a break, yay). Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for two tinkles, also leaning fully against the side rail and continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • Now @ 7:08pm, I’ve finished one final game of Bejeweled lasting 7:42. Right, promise I’ll not play again until toms. XD
  • After washing and drying Era, I walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table for breakfast, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting Him push me over.

Thanks to Kim who got me the toast, a spoon and turned the television on so I could watch Sunrise! Over breakfast, I also spend ten minutes finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!

  • Around 9am, we set off for my fortnightly shopping trip! After finding parking outside the library (level two), I used the loo once, grabbed Kylie Chan’s Demon Child and happily read for about one hour, reaching pg. twenty-five @ 10;14am.
  • After posting to Facebook, I used the loo once more then we began our shopping; first upstairs @ Coles.
  • Coming back downstairs, we took a five minute sit-down break then continued our shopping @ Woolies. Caitlin was there, but with a cast on her arm! As Kim put the groceries through the self-serve checkout, I asked her what had happened; Caitlin said her poor dog was freaked out by some thunderstorm, crashed into her and she fell awkwardly, ow!
  • Before leaving for lunch, Kim left me leaning against the wall holding onto the trolley while she ducked into the bakery and bought one sausage bun and one normal custard bun for me. I stay outside coz the aisles there are too narrow to fit the trolley in, and obviously it’s not safe to leave the groceries unattended.
  • Originally Kim was gonna drive us to lunch @ Café Mi, coz ‘twas bucketing down while we were shopping and Woka Woka isn’t undercover; luckily by the time we left the sky had cleared up; Kim decided to risk us having lunch there.
  • We both ordered the sizzling noodles with chicken! The Chinese waiter served us; I rather mangled my Chinese telling him ‘no cashews’. Mine arrived, but Kim’s didn’t! I flagged down the Cantonese-speaking waitress and she went to chase Kim’s lunch up; shortly the male waiter came and apologised, saying he’d accidentally only ordered one I thought he was ‘hol yau gai dai’ (say that in Canto) for coming to explain that~
  • Afterwards, Kim tootled us home. I was saved from having to turn the alarm off coz dad was already home, score!
  • So a nice warm shower for me – I washed and rinsed my own hair today. I also sang 20% of my shorter second-favourite song softly, slowly but most hatefully out aloud, opening both eyes for all the important numbers.
  • I had one tinkle before I flipped the nice warm water off, mostly – hopefully brb!

Cheers,

Em. ^^
