Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've apparently been hard @ work plodding 5525 steps (but I think Wally's just being overactive today since I've not walked than usual XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Our Toothless Enemy' and thirdly, TWFT topic's 'How To Be Fruitful (5)'. Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until 6am and after one pot :P trip, I immediately fell back asleep since I knew PIG mum would get noisy one hour later!
- Sure enough, one hour later, noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs, which wakes me for another pot :P trip, after which I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- When Karina arrived, PIG mum let her in, but she didn't enter my room and say 'fifteen more minutes' and I thought score, maybe I'll get thirty more minutes today! Actually, she came in after ten minutes to say fifteen more minutes, meaning I got twenty-five more minutes; not bad. XD
- When Karina came back, I used the pot :P for one more tinkle, we got me kitted and then I headed over to brush teeth. Thanks to Karina who squirted me some toothpaste. Teeth brushed, I sit over the loo for only one tinkle, coming out when I realise I feel like doing a stinky unspeakable.
- Breakfast is one bowl of bird food (what Dr. Ku calls All-Bran XD), one full mug of water, all my usual drugs :P and one slice of dry (unbuttered) tooast smeared with avocado and sprinkled with a little salt. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh* Thanks to Karina who turns on Sunrise for my viewing pleasure~
- After breakfast, I sit over the loo once more. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against
the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the
saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my
day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NO
- After washing and drying Era, I climb into Karina's passenger seat and she tootles me off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown for my fortnightly shopping trip, finding a side park near the end of level two.
- After using the loo for one tinkle, I grab Lian Hearn's 'Orphan Warriors', sit and read for about one hour, reaching pg. 300 @ 10:15am, reaching pg. 325 @ 10:42am, finishing pg. 333 @ 10:52am and FINISHING THE BOOK @ 10:55am!
- After posting an update onto Facebookj and using the loo for one more tinkle, originally Karina and I were gonna head upstairs and buy groceries from Coles first but just as we're walking past the Woolies self-serve checkout exits, Caitlin comes out pushing a trolley! "Hey, Happy New Year!" She calls upon seeing me. I reply happy 2022 and if you're not going to lunch yet, wait for me and I'll come buy groceries now? Caitlin goes sure!
- While Karina's scanning items through the self-serve checkout, Caitlin and I have a brief chat.
- Our last stop's Coles for more groceries, since Karina already bought buns from New York Baguette while I was reading @ the library.
- upstair parking undercover upstairs @ Sunnybank Plaza, we catch the lift down to ground floor and bag a table @ the back with the comfy leather seats.
- I get my favourite BBQ duck plus one dollar for extra fried egg with a HK-style cold milk tea; Karina gets sweet and sour pork with rice, adding three bucks to upgrade the plain rice to fried rice. Turns out she likes shallots! She drinks Coke with her lunch.
- When Jacky brings my lunch over, he asks would I like some 'larm mui jeung' (say that in Canto) with it? I know 'jeung' means 'sauce' but what's 'larm mui'? Jacky translates 'plum sauce' and I reply 'no thanks' but after he leaves regretted saying that coz even though I'm not a big plum fan I've never tried plum sauce before! When Jacky returns with Karina's lunch I tell him sorry I've changed my mind and please can I have some plum sauce? Jacky goes sure and brings back this little saucer for me; it's so yummy I mop all the sauce up before finishing the duck and the final three slices are grumpy that they didn't get any. XD
- After Karina tootles me home I turn off the alarm and take my quickest possible shower - hairwash today. Also thanks to Karina who helps me rinse out my hair, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- I have one tinkle before Karina flips the nice warm water off, get dried, get creamed and have another tinkle. When Karina rekits me, I have one more tinkle when she's helping with Erf's sock and one last when she's giving Wally back to Ela.
- Back outside, I ate half the sausage bun for arvo tea plus one mug of some ginger honey/lemon infusion while Karina cleans the bathroom before I sign her off with my thanks and byes. She's back again next Thursday same time and toms she's attending her girlfriend's fortieth birthday bash - they're all getting pedicures somewhere!
- After visiting the loo for several more tinkles, I returned online.
- Looking forward to watching the news for the 2nd time tonight!
- Toms: can't remember: will the carer come 9-1/4-6? Also can't remember has PIG mum found the OT to come gimme a session. Prolly. *sigh*
- Oh, hope we can go panic buy toilet paper toms! Karina's partner does truck driving delivery work; according to him there'll soon be a shortage of toilet paper so we'd better go buy extra rolls toms! XD
- Anyways, hopefully bbl, else hope everyone has a smashing end to their week toms!
