Thursday Post 450

Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 2204 steps; secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Hope For Imperfect Christians'; thirdly, TWFT topic's "This Year, Think 'Possible' (3)" and fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'A Nesting Place' but fifthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY-NINE MINUTES online after I watch the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 3rd time!! Anyways, events for today?

  • Yay, awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until noisy PIG mum awoke me with her noisy daily a-THUMPING around upstairs; after one pot :P trip I immediately fell back asleep since I knew she'd get very noisy again one hour later!
  • Like clockwork, one hour later noisy PIG mum goes a-THUMPING upstairs and gets changed for her half-day's work, my wakeup call to relieve myself again. After the second pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
  • Shortly afterwards, PIG mum lets herself into my room and hits me with the eye goo before letting the new carer in @ 7:30am and bolting off for her half-day's work. After my fifteen more minutes, I swing myself over to the pot :P once more for three tinkles and introduce myself. Catherine's five years younger than me, was born in NSW (but doesn't follow the Origin so we're still friends XD) and her hubby's a security guard somewhere. They're been trying for their first child but haven't had any success yet and IVF's super-expensive!
  • We get me kitted, I head over to the bathroom to brush teeth, sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then head out to the gobbling :P table.
  • Breakfast's prolly one bowl of healthy cereal, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing  on  my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
  • After breakfast, I sit once more over the loo. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
  • After washing and drying Era, I climb into Cathy's passenger, she kindly helps me with my seatbelt (and does that all day thanks very much) and tootles me off to Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown for my first shopping trip for the year!
  • She finds us a park closest to the bathroom; after grabbing a trolley for us, I use the loo for one tinkle and heading into the library was wondering which book I'd start the year with when on the display shelves near the entrance I see one of those only three day loan books that looked interesting called The German Wife by Kelly Rimmer. Grabbing that, I happily flopped into one of those squashy armchairs and happily read that for about one hour, reaching page twenty-five @ 11:20am and reaching page fifty @ 11:51. I'd started posting an update onto Facebook after that but since Cat returned saying she couldn't find the sausage buns so got two custard buns for me instead I left the post to finish for later and we went buying groceries after I visited the loo for one more tinkle.
  • After buying groceries from both Coles and Woolies I showed her where the sausage buns were kept @ New York Baguette and bought one.
    Cheers,
    Em. ^^
