Good evening and really probably one final greeting for tonight! Firstly, Em's really probable final, final plodding total for tonight now stands @ 3402 (aww, not quite 3.5 grand; another day, perhaps! XD); secondly, Joni's devotional topic's 'Stretcher Bearer' and thirdly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Sharing Hope'. Righteo, really probable final, final events for tonight?
- When Kim hadn't arrived by 5:31pm I remarked to PIG mum, "That's odd. Usually Kim arrives early but doesn't come inside until exactly when her shift starts." PIG mum opoens and peers out the door and replies Kim's just arrived.
- Sure enough, 'twas the inclement weather that had her arriving slightly late. Sparkless3 gets transferred to Kim's boot and yay, dearest dad arrives home for a kiss goodbye in time before we set off.
- We got the free parking, but after Kim setup Sparkless3 and opened my car door - the sleeting rain GUSHED in! "Eep!" I said, immediately reaching forward with Era, grabbing the door and slamming it shut. Kim goes back around to the driver's side and says how about she find paid parking undercover? She doesn't feel safe with me transferring from her car to Sparkless3 in this torrent and will pay half the parking fee. Me: sure!
- We're going to the new room when suddenly someone calls out, "Emily!" I turn in the direction of the voice and say, "Viktor? Thought I heard your voice but where are you?" A huge umbrella gets lowered and Viktor's face peeks out. "Here! Didn't you get Neil's e-mail? Last minute room change! Besides, the door's still locked and we can't get in." Viktor leads us to the new room but it's bucketing down like crazy and the wind's really strong too; Era's holding the umbrella but the wind's blowing it sideways and we're getting wet anyways! Suddenly Vicktor shifts so that his massive umbrella's covering the three of us! XD "Great umbrella; where'd you get one that big from?" I ask. Viktor replies from his kids' swim school!
- We reach the room and yup it's still locked. Viktor, Steph, Aarunan, Kim and me wait. Suddenly Neil rings and says he's stuck on the Kelkvin Grove campus coz the free shuttle bus got cancelled and it's bucketing down over there too! Lol, second consecutive meeting cancelled. XD
- Kim tootles us back to the Warrigal Square Maccas where we each get a Happy Meal with an orange juice but my burger's without the pickle.
- Her shift ends 1.5 hours early since she gets me back home @ 8pm. She's back next Monday 9-1 and then again Tuesday 9-2.
- Toms: hope PIG mum helps me up...
- Perhaps expect a super-pissy plodding total from me? Only seeing Ray for some acupuncture and massage toms arvo ... joining choir practice online from 5:30pm till 6:30pm.
- Best of all, Mr. Hall's coming over for his birthday dinner toms night; PIG mum's baking a cake for him right now!
- Righteo, hope everyone has a smashing day toms!
