Saturday Post 305

 Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've been hard @ work plodding 4472 steps (sweet, I'm over four grand; that doesn't happen very often!); secondly, John Piper's devotional topic from last night's 'Two Of Our Deepest Needs' and thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Choose Peace' but fourthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed FIFTY-FOUR MINUTES online should I get to watch the 6pm news bulletin tonight!! Anyways, events for today?

• Aww, my awesome sleep streak ended @ 12:05am this morning, when nature woke me and demanded I use the pot. :P Funnily enough, she did so again thirty minutes later and 'twas a long pee too; had I not properly emptied my bowels the first time? XD 
• Nature called again @ 6am; after another pot :P trip I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*

•  The next time nature called I was actually woken by PIG mum, who'd begun her daily a-THUMPING around upstairs. Soon, she'd let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo before bolting off for her half day's work. Shortly after she left, dad came and said fifteen more minutes coz he was taking his 4WD in for service. Only I fell back asleep after five; when dad shook me awake I told him I still had ten minutes left but he said nup it's been fifteen. He got my footwear on (PIG mum had helped me quickly with the bra strap and tee before rushing off to work) and told me to held into the bathroom. I thought he just wanted me to rinse my mouth but dad was like no, DRINK some so I took a sip for him. XD

• After climbing into the backseat of dad's 4WD, I bucked my seatbelt and dad tootled us off to wherever his Nissan was getting serviced. Unsure why 4KQ radio didn't have any news @ 8:30? Well, perhaps only NOVA gives half-hourly updates.

• At the Nissan place, dad walked with me inside but wouldn't lemme sit on the comfy chairs? Dunno why. He found me the Courier Mail from Thursday but then demanded I walk to the end of the room where there was a table to read the paper from there. Dunno why.
