Good afternoon! Firstly, today I've neem hard @ work plodding 2624 steps (ha, I'm over 2.5 grand XD); secondly, John Piper's daily devotional topic from last night's 'Afraid To Stray; thirdly, TWFT topic's 'Setting Captives Free (1)'; fourthly, Our Daily Bread's devotional topic's 'Pressing On In Jesus' and fifthly, the spam count for the week's eleven but sixthly and way most importantly, I'm really still owed ELEVEN MINUTES online after I watch the Broncos play tonight!! >< *sigh* Anyways, events for today?
- Yay, 6th consecutive awesome sleep last night! Nature didn't call until the noisy garbage truck awoke me when it came THUNDERING down the road to tip our bins and after one pot :P trip, I spend ten minutes beginning a mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me with the patience, perseverance, strength and endurance I need to get through today with, giving PIG mum all the pleasure, all the satisfaction and just suffering for her whenever she decided that only she can be happy and/or satisfied. It doesn't sound very fair, but she's taught me through her actions, if not through her words, that it's enough she's happy and/or satisfied, and I guess whenever that happens, I've just got to grit my teeth and endure. >< *sigh*
- Usually nature calls hourly after that first daylight pot :P trip but happiness was snoring peacefully until dearest dad very considerately walked silently along the hallway and unpopped the lock into the garage before waking again for the pot. :P
- After dearest dad kisses me bye, retucks me back into bed, pretends to suck Pearl's SEVEN pearls, laughs when Pearl body slams him for the cheek and leaves for his hard day's work, Pearl and I happily cuddle and snore, me waking once more for the pot :P shortly before noisy PIG mum begins her daily a-THUMPING around noisily upstairs. Soon, she's let herself into my room to hit me with the eye goo and help me exceedingly slightly with absolutely nothing but the bra strap before leaving me to get myself mostly independently kitted, which I comply with after giving myself fifteen more minutes first.
- PIG mum comes back to help with absolutely nothing bar Elf's AFO straps and both laces, before I let her gleefully FORCE :( me to walk over to the bathroom to brush teeth. That done, I sit over the loo for one tinkle, wash and dry Era and then walk myself slowly and safely out to the gobbling :P table, rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over.
- Breakfast is the yummy vanilla custard bun I'd bought yesterday with the carer, all my usual drugs :P and one full mug of water. Over breakfast, I spent another ten minutes continuing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel, asking him please to help me get through today okay. I find it's exceedingly important to constantly remind the cruel and unfaithful God that He has no bearing on my good day whatsoever, that I am perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him, because my good day's dependent on my own good attitude. If only God would remember that ... *sigh* He created the phrase 'live and let live', so why the heck can't He lemme live the free, independent life that I deserve? Okay, fair enough, we all only deserve death because of Him, but why can't He just lemme live the life that nearly everyone else gets to live?? *sigh*
- After breakfast, I walk myself slowly and safely back to the bathroom, again rising above the cruel and unfaithful God’s near-overwhelming hatred and not letting him push me over. There, I do a stinky unspeakable, also leaning fully against the side rail and finishing my mostly silent chat to Percy the saint/angel. Remember, however the cruel and unfaithful God tries to make my day bad for me, I won't let that affect me because my good day has NOTHING to do with Him; I'm perfectly capable of having a good day without Him, despite Him and apart from Him. See, my good day's dependent on my own good attitude!
- Peggy arrives @ 10am and takes me out to Calamvale Central for walkies and to buy groceries. Since the weather's not looking promising, she parks underground and grabs a trolley for us.
- First we duck into Hanaromart and buy a packet of sweet potato noodles called japchae that I'll cook with Tiff this arvo!
- Then I sit and happily play Jewel Quest while Peggy does her own shopping.
- Around 11:40am we start the trip back home.
- Took a nice hot shower when I got home - hairwash today. Also thanks to Peggy who rinsed out my hair for me, thus freeing Era to hold my stupid right eye tightly shut.
- I had one 6inkle before Peggy flipped the nice hot water off, got dried, got creamed and had another tinkle. When Peggy rekits me, I have one more tinkle when she's helping with Erf's sock and one last when she was giving Wally back to Ela.
- Back out Peggy immediately made me one big mug of white tea sweetened with one spoonful of honey and then made me a plain tuna toastie with TWO slices of cheese and buttered on one side! :D
- When PIG mum got home she yapped @ Peggy incessantly and the poor woman couldn't leave until two minutes after her shift had officially finished.
- Tiff arrived while I was still finishing lunch! PIG mum went out swimming.
- After I'd downed my big mug of tea we set to work cooking the japchae with chicken! I peeled and cut the carrot, cut the chicken, Tiff cut the onion and mixed the sauces and then I stood @ the stove and cooked everything!
- When PIG mum got home from swimming we all had one bowl for arvo tea; I also drank one mug of peppermint tea. She was sneaky and already removed my mobile, meaning I can't access it while watching the news during the break tonight. >< *sigh*
- Before popping online, I visited the loo for one tinkle.
- Looking forward to watching the 6pm news bulletin (Nine's) for the 64TH time!
- After the news ends I'll use the loo for one tinkle and then hopefully PIG mum'll feed me dinner, coz I plan to be seated on the sofa @ 7:30pm to watch the Broncos play!
- Toms: Tracey's minding me from 10-2 but I'm unsure will we have time to go grocery shopping coz toms arvo I'm attending Peter Pie's and Yu Lam's WEDDING!!
- Meaning i'll not attend table tennis toms arvo ... but for some reason they're not having a reception @ night?
- Anyways, hope everyone has a smashing weekend ahead!
Cheers,
Em. ^^
